It comes down to trust and risk management. The competent person is also the biggest shareholder who has the most to gain. The competent person/geologist/major shareholder trusted somewhat a document written in a language that he has already admitted he does not understand. There is a lot riding on the enthusiasm and judgement of one person. He does seem to be highly respected and trustworthy- for all that.

Larger companies and large public institutions have invested squillions based on less.

Risk and reward. I will keep this as a low percentage of my portfolio. Then I can anticipate upside on this and sleep well.
