Ok, I'm digging a little bit deeper in regards to my previous post.

Since October 2014, there is something going on with the 25th of the month, or the first trading day either side of that date.

March 25, 2015 - 916,752 (as of 3:10pm) (monthly avg approx. 260k)
February 25, 2015 - 863,000 (monthly avg 676k *month included 5m traded when offer rejected)
January 27, 2015 - 622,000 monthly avg 117k)
December 22, 2014 - 366000 (monthly avg 209k)
November 25, 2014 - 1.3m (monthly avg 393k)
October 24, 2014 - 379,000 (monthly avg 101k)

While I appreciate they are not high volumes in monetary terms (that's my caveat just for you, Moseley), there is a significant trend, especially when you compare the avg volume for the rest of the month.

Why is it so? Do we get monthly reports from H/Q? If so, when are they delivered?

As I mentioned in my previous post, there is also a day around the 6th-10th of the month that trades a lot higher than monthly avgs, but it's exact date isn't as consistent as the end of the month.

I'm sure someone could show a month-by-month volume graph and find the clear trend.

Probably means SFA, but just sparked some interest from my end.
