With the greatest respect, trying to time the take off point of a speccie to the nearest tenth of a cent, is like playing Russian Roulette.
If this share goes to 5, 10 or 20 cents, it matters not a jot whether it was purchased at 2.5c or 2.4c, especially if on the day that the Announcement is made, it jumps cents at a time, never to return.
