Excellent pickup - I only just compared the 10th Oct news release to the 17th October announcement.
Looking at them side by side in PDF viewers you can see that from Page 14 onwards - the JORC Code, 2012 Edition – Table 1 (extracted from AM&A report) actually does have a Section3 now on the 17th Oct announcement (i.e. pages 15 to 18 were missing on the original Announcement on the 10th Oct). Hence the extra 3 pages in the "corrected" release.
As far as I can tell this is the only change - all text and diagrams before page 14 are exactly the same in both announcements. i don't know why companies don't just put an explanation as to why they had to release a correction rather than making us do all the detective work ourselves.
