Whilst I agree it is not good that they changed the finance date, this was not unexpected when the chairman gets booted. Any finance progress would have had the chairman's involvement and potentially was compromised post departure. They are bringing in finance people with experience and hopefully they can secure a deal that is based on what is best for the company.
I like the fact that the new goals are based on share price, because that is how I make money, all the other goals were steps to improving the share price, this ties to it directly, admittedly they are pretty soft targets, we will either smash all of them almost at once or go broke, not a lot of incremental incentive to improve.
What I don't like is that they released this without communicating a clear picture, after hours and not price sensitive which just reeks of poor leadership and trickery, which only works on the little holders and tends to make serious player, including financiers very nervous. I understand finance timeline has changed, but be upfront and professional so we understand context rather than hiding it, which is at best a short-term strategy until next presentation.
