Was born in 1976 into Racing Royalty. Failed miserably at Private school in the posh suburb of Bellevue Hill. Made great mates but that was all the tuition got as a return.
After becoming a world famous pizza delivery driver my family had had enough of my playboy lifestyle and I was drafted like it was WW2 into the family business.
After 11 years of basically fighting my father at every turn, as we had very differing work ethics and ideals, I decided to move countries in 2002. Continued for a short time in the racing industry before very fortuitously falling into the property industry which has kept a roof over my head.
I have only ever owned two stocks in my 47 years.
I was lucky enough to be offered MYOB at the IPO from a friend at Ord Minnett. Also lucky enough to listen to my brother (an accountant) to sell out at $18. About the only good thing he’s ever done for me. The tech crash came and I was away and clear of the Stockmarket.
My wife was very reluctant to allow me to invest in BET and now she has the “I told you so” to use whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Our chosen investment for the past 22 years of being together has been property.
I kind of liken myself to Donald Trump. Born with a platinum spoon in my arse. May or may not of had a small hand in life but look where we are now.
