Further tests will be conducted to increase the viscosity of the product while maintaining the fire-retardant performance. This work will be the precursor to submitting FireStop™ to FGR’s own testing to the relevant fire standards and to CSIRO for independent testing in Q1 2018. In the meantime, the Company is entering negotiations with potential industry partners for the commercialisation of FireStop™.


Why would the company quote a timeframe in a ASX announcement if they weren't certain they could achieve the results, If they weren't confident in completing the test during Q1 they could of said they expected this to completed during the first half of 2018.

FGR had the Dec QTR report, the Jan 22 FireStop update and Peter's video with the financial news netword on the 6th of March to advise shareholders that the time frame had changed.
All FGR had to advise was, UoA are currently doing x which will results in CSIRO testing being delayed until Q2.
