Indeed, the article was posted on request from Hose, it was related to Ivaldi but still relevant to qualify Wilhelmsen as a key player following the announcement.

To answer your question, If I had to guess I would say that parts dimension could be a key factor. Every article I read about metal printing and powder based solutions involves a small machine (like the one below) that would be adequate for printing small parts.

I think its a different story when you need to print larger pieces and thats where AML shines with their WAM based tech and a robotic arm pivoting around multiple axes....it expands to new use cases and new materials too I guess.
