While it may not be shock horror stuff, there is still room for bad news from ASIC or APRA or legal action by AMP advisers or by class actions.
ASIC have said they are still looking at AMP and the banks. APRA were looking at super trustee issues.
These may not turn into significant commercial matters for AMP but they could still be a little messy.
I must admit that I was happy when AMP broke out from the $1.92 price that I was worried was a limit for this year due to the $1.60 share issue. We don’t need any bad news now to see us drop down and stay down.
