this is great news for starving investors. These are benefits to SH, notably:-
3) Paying down corporate debt
4) Share buy back
5) Finally, a special dividend to shareholders.
AMP still retains its China share in life investment.
AMP will save on expenses relating to overseas investments and real estate in Australia.
AMP will be more simplified (means less costs in running a business)
I believe AMP Share price will get to the $2 mark & I would be happier if they just did a full BB . Then you have less shares on issue and this improves SP & then reintroduce the twice a yr dividends.
AMP's SP was traded as if it was going in to liquidation. So glad I averaged down & followed my own convictions.
