There is about 5 Yuan to every Australian Dollar, so China Life's 12 trillion Yuan is about $2.4 trillion in assets, and the group's consolidated income is 632 billion Yuan, or $127 billion, that is huge.
There is no doubt that the Chinese population is getting bigger and ageing, and many people are joining the Chinese Life Pension Company, so expect CLPC to continue to grow in size with rapid growth. The future will be very interesting to see how much income AMP can get with the 20% slice of this behemoth of a company.
