Well, $24b loan book is not exactly small. Compare it to Judo bank:-

Judo recorded its strongest ever month of growth in June, with $478 million growth in Gross Loans and
Advances (GLAs). Momentum in settlements has continued into the new financial year, and as of 14 July the bank’s balance of GLAs exceeded $9 billion, consistent with the Group’s FY23 guidance."
So JDO they have a Loan book of $9 billion, and a Market Cap. of $1.44 billion. AMP are twice their size, so gives you an idea of its value.
