re: Ann: AMPELLA PRESENTATION TO RBC AFRICAN ... A few things i gleaned from the presentation:

1. Hedge funds have increased in % holding of amx. From 3% to 11% of the company in 12months. Not sure what consequences to infer from this , perhaps nothing. I know they love to short gold stocks when gold moves higher is a spread trade.

2. Surprisingly , retail investors have remained strong holders of the stock in the last 12months. Still accounting for 30% of the company. So it begs the question , who the hell has been selling ?? Foreign institution have reduced by about 3% ?? I know that many overseas insto's were selling ASX resource stock last year across the board , to cash in on the high AUD$. Many co's made big $$ just from the currency exchange play. With the AUD moving lower again , perhaps this bodes well for the stock. Food for thought.

3. Scoping study for underground mining potential underway. Could give some significant upside when a DFS in concluded.


I see the current Ev/Res is reported as ~$72/oz.

If current market cap remains, if/when they announce the 4mil/oz mark - then the ev/res will be ~$48/oz !! Compared to the west africa average which is above $100/oz .

Ridiculously cheap and a buy signal for any resource investor imo.
