Sometimes what looks good on the surface, is not what it seems. i.e. They are buying that entire Korean business for $2M. If that's all it takes to go from mine to magnet then every miner will buy a Korean business. Without the finance organised, ASM is putting the cart before the horse.
Given the lengthy process time to organise finance in any of these large deals. I would prefer all hands on deck rather than our guys jetting for downstream processing items in another country, especially given what Woodall is doing is not required to get income in the door. Long term-Woodall's idea sounds good and almost revolutionary, but that has no medium to short term ability to put food on the table and as ARU and all other miners know, finance takes a good part of a decade. ASM have their direction and ARU has its own.
It's just opinions here, but I like ARU approach.
