I’ve talked to a few ppl about this and they’ve indicated that the back end of AMX is world class but the front end is inferior to NEA. I suspect until this is fixed so may pay 50x EV/EBITDA for NEA versus 17x EV/EBITDA for AMX. There’s also an insto (Perennial) who is building a position so suspect some level of accumulation at play. Another person has said similarly there’s uncertainty about the 9.4m shares in escrow for other existing shareholders is “at risk”. I think some, like yourself, will wait until Monday to start buying.
Ive invested in a few companies with a poor front end that have really re-rated once they’ve been noticed such as 3DP & VERI overseas.
I think there is large upside here but it’ll require some patience. If all goes to plan $2+ is very achievable. There are companies like NXL & ABY listing at 100-114x EV/EBITDA so this is a hidden gem in this market.
