AI is coming that’s for sure, I believe that is true.
Now let’s look at the car industry as a comparible with the aerospace industry.
Tesla produced the first model car in 2008, looking to change the industry…sure has, 14% of vehicles world wide are now EV. 14% in 16 years….that’s a massive turnaround(BUT that still leaves 86% of cars that are run on petrochemical). Let’s get the calculater out, to get rid of all petrolchem(86%)of cars, that will take approximately 112 years based off 14% 16years) now apply that to the aerospace industry. Planes are simply not going to change over night just because of AI. Its adaption would be even slower than the car industry. Even if in some spectacular turn around from AI, the aerospace industry will still run at snails pace….we all know how much they love change!
