I bought some "Lupini" a couple of days ago. Lupin beans soaking in brine. They remind me a lot of broad beans. Similar size and has a slightly tough skin that comes off easily. The flavour is a mild bean flavour. A very slight hint of bitterness, but basically neutral in taste. The texture is pleasant. Firm enough to have some mouthfeel. Again, like a lightly boiled broad bean or chick peas.
