SGS would refuse to conduct work using BBX's special "proprietary flux" because SGS would know that they would lose their in-country and probably international accreditation by doing this work. I couldn't think of a quicker way to destroy the credibility of a commercial lab like SGS than by doing this.

But you are right - I doubt very much that BBX would want any normal commercial mineral assay lab getting a hold of this "special BBX flux", because then they might be inclined to assay it, and maybe even report it to a regulator, thats the last thing that BBX would want.

I would bet that the legal department of SGS and many other commercial assay labs have been instructed their own lab managers not to conduct any work for BBX that falls outside their own scope of proven and repeatable sample prep and routine assay analysis. Their business reputation relies on their accreditation and professional standards.
