In the end HC posters can and do come up with any number of conspiracies with regards to the shareprice of Companies they are involved in but whoever underwriters an issue of shares is doing so because a large number of largely smaller shareholders won't back the Company, hence leaving the Company unable to raise cash required without an underwriter....the problem is not with the underwriters, we need them, it's with the weak hands who like the idea of high risk high reward stocks untill they have to put their hands in their pockets..
Underwriters obviously won't underwrite with the expectation of not being able to move the shares on at a higher price.
It's Management's job to run the Company in the interest of shareholders and solvency comes first, if you don't believe they are then it is pointless holding the shares ...if you expect perfection from Management then take a look in a mirror first, they are just like you and I...
If finding offtake partners and development finance was easy there wouldn't be hundreds of Companies worldwide struggling to do so..
