Very true Gajet. The other key aspect of performance shares or KPI is how the directors performance is to be measured. I like to see these goals stated as a nominated SP value to be achieved by a nominated future deadline. Shorting plays havoc with that method, but maybe that's just another obstacle that directors need to overcome if acting in the best interests of the company, other holders and themselves? NPAT is another measurement that's fair also.
