Tenacious,Is how I plan my sampling. You rotate it around, backup etc.That way you see the terrain, hills, valleys, gullies, flats and how they relate. I like going flats into gully and sample the heads and borders.Same you can see hills between gullies. Nice if reef on hill. Just like flying over it. When I am sampling gullies for example, easy to mark there edges.Also you can see tree terrain. Important because trees like moisture.If no trees, no moisture, often little soil. Then if you get a run of trees, soils etc.In raidens maps you can see changes in trees, Ie soils in places and not much in others.I do alot of loaming. It is a very old method of tracking gold to the source.
