Not true at all. I had a lot of options and I received an email reminding me of the fact I had options that were expiring and what my options were. Most probably some sort of obligatory email but still sounded to me that they would appreciate the money. As soon as they got the money my converted shares were listed in my ComSec account same day.
Nothing nefarious IMO. Normal company trading.
On top of this, the company cannot hold investor’s hands. Sometimes an investor has to make a decision.
