I keep an eye on the NPI iron price in China. If I believe the site I look at, it is ca. US$22k/t nickel content, well above the current LME Ni price. I expect there are costs that need to be subtracted such as shipping etc., but assuming that cost is 10-15%, that still delivers a very nice margin. The recent NIC announcement talked about great margins, so my approach is to sit tight. I'm fully loaded on NIC, otherwise I would buy more. At this price, maybe I will.
