If the path that is described in the article is followed, it will not be gold that will glisten but the commodities being consumed by the Chinese industrial collossus. Producing goods to the world at greatly discounted prices will lead to greatly increased consumption that would not normally be there. So metals etc will be in great demand at a time of low discovery rates. Nickel is a good example. Investing in miners of metals other than gold may be the best path until the brakes are applied.
