With MOK on board we might finally see a turn around. I'm hopeful. He's a good operator from my experience of him so far. He has a massive job in front of him, that is true. What I don't understand is how the previous board allowed this to go on for 2 years and not following up on the jv talks from back then.

Hi Deano,
Its my guess that Jair Bolsonaro's election as a hardliner has had a lot to do with the change of sentiment with Anglo re the JV.
He is expected to support mining 100% (unfortunately to the detriment of Brazil's indigenous communities it would appear).
