I guess 400% improvement sounds better than 4 times better but in reality i thought we would be way ahead with second gen. In the old days they used to talk about hundreds of times better. I guess now its getting to the pointy end its harder to back up claims. SMN1 transcript from 8% to 33%? Unfortunately im no scientist so i can't tell if that is impressive or something a drug manufacturer might be prepared to pay multi millions to access? I guess it would need to be compared to what can be achieved with newer types of AAV and if we have advantages over that method which still seems to be the go to.
