imo problem with new treatments is until they are proven effective and safe they are worth little other than the value of a promising idea. The value begins with lab tests, animal testing and then clinical trials. Until clinical trials prove the treatment works and sufficiently to be worth using increasing value can be hard to find. All lab tests and animal trails can be positive only to find the human trials prove ineffective and it’s all over. Can be a slippery slope.
