There is no difference to the equity of the company between using shares and cash I believe. But using shares is much better I think, cash is king. Using shares doesn't dilute us since we lose slices but get an equivalent bigger pie. The good thing is that they accepted such a large percentage of shares at a solid price, which expresses confidence in the company.
Would you sell your company for 90% shares in a company that you thought was going up or down?
