Well as gc2016 says, if we were in a silver bull run right now and there are millions flying everywhere, sure why not. I mean we could be there in a month or two, but we aren't yet. So it seems premature especially given the fact they were fumbling around on the silver for 3 months and just announced a loss. I think this is what most are expressing here, the timing of it.

And there is no real "asset" as it stands as there is no green light currently. Though obviously everyone involved thinks it will get done.

The only upside to this as I see it now is these people could bring people with larger wallets to MKR looking to get into mineral diversification. It could entice some super fund or something like that to be interested with their mainstream thoughts about environmentalism and CO2 and whatnot. It seems TTR have been trying to do some deal like this for 4 years already and finally hooked a Karp.

I can imagine a scenario where if gold/silver are not doing well that MKR stop producing in ~8 months and go back to being a developer until this mineral sands gets off the ground or silver/gold improve and this could be what Karp is planning for here.
