"They just need silver price to go in their direction and they will look like geniuses. This is what people like @Gratton44 don't seem to grasp" - that's a little unfair. Of course I understand if silver doubles they're laughing all the way to the bank.

However there has been a long history of comments on the MKR threads about "if's" - namely related to tonnes mined and hauled, tonnes processed, head grade, recovery numbers etc... basically, IF the best case scenario happened, then yes, the pits at Boppy and Wonawinta would have easily paid the debt and financed operations. However, that hasn't happened.

As seen over the past 2 years, it's very risky to base a set of parameters on the 'best case' scenario. I would have expected some sensitivity analysis would have picked up the risks involved but they seem to have been negated, or ignored.

And to answer the other members question about recovery - I believed their last quarter recovery would have been 60-65%, it was 55%. I recall some announcement spruiking about how recovery was under control from early May but that didn't continue; in fact, it looks like it went backward. Again, can't base things on the best case. Sure, keep a positive mind frame, but don't gamble everything on it!
