Agree with your comments @southbank only a small number of shares changing hands. I would be happy with $250k EBIT / profit for the QTR, with the expectation that this forms a baseline that grows over the course of the year, but basically growing by $250k a qtr as well (=$500k next qtr).

Given this is essentially a Chicken business at the moment, with this division contributing 84% of revenue, the recent addition (completed late Q4 last year) of the air chillers, which will improve processing capacity by 50% is a significant milestone on the pathway to profit. We should start to see the impact this quarter, but may not enjoy the full benefits until Q2. In addition to this, we are investing in building new growing sheds and expanding the network of growers. This bodes well for a solid year from our biggest division.

While the Chicken division is the biggest by a long way, Dairy is the fastest growing (rev grew 140% last year) and we need this to continue to really balance out revenue risk. It will be hard to repeat the revenue growth of last year in this division, but if they can get revenue to increase from $6m to $10m, that would be a big achievement,

Growth for both the Chicken and Dairy divisions will come both from gaining a higher market share in Tassie and most importantly from better distribution and sales of these products on the mainland.

I also have great confidence in our current Directors and Execs, the latest presentation is very clear and concise, which I think reflects the leadership.

Buying at these levels I see as quite low risk, albeit you might need to be patient depending on the quarterly result. We either spike higher, or not much happens and we drift through the period of tax loss selling.
