The 10% buyback commences on 6-Apr. Consequently, there will be a mad scramble as people load up while the discount to NTA is in place and before the buyback commences. Perhaps about time as even though the volume has been very low, the discount to NTA has become a bit silly.
Remember that MA1 is not a one-trick pony that could crash to nothing such as PDN for example, instead MA1 is invested in multiple good quality companies, plus short in a few higher risk low performing companies such as Sky Network Television. In my opinion MA1's stock selection process is solid, and the recent underperformance is simply a blip on an otherwise very solid track record.
