For those who don't realize how buybacks work it is not to push the share price up. It is purely a capital management exercise. I'm sure if the price falls to 14 or 15 cents there is a very high chance Nova will start buying back shares. Until then it's not going to happen at 16.5 17 cents. As was previously mentioned for shared by back can only be enacted on an average of a number of trading days. This is to stop companies from doing exactly what people on this thread are saying.
