REX is coming into the main game from the bottom up. They can tweak the running costs to demand fluctuations (which there will be many)
QAN & VAH are carrying huge debt burdens on their operations. With International travel still at least 12 months away, the main game is opening up of domestic travel. QAN is already trying to neutralize REX by dumping flights into regional unprofitable routes, very unfair practice, but wouldn't be doing it if they weren't feeling threatened.
QAN and VAH trying to win the race to the bottom cant last with current losses being incurred.
REX has the ability to adjust. Is if they didn't see this coming. They are fully aware when Compass tried the same thing and saw what happened.
CEO Neville Howell is fully aware of that.
