That's smartass strategy. The new CEO will just say I dont know (while being CFO) and it's a legacy of Mr Alan the dictator for:
- Setting expiry date on covid-cancelled flights
- Selling tickets on cancelled flights
- Lobbying to restrict additional Qatar Airways flights - while Qatar brought more Aussies home than Qantas during Covid...
- Blaming more Qatar flights will reduce airfares which will hurt/distort the industry - while making tons of money out of Australians...
They literally betray Australians over the last few years, no doubt about that. And still being recognised as national airlines and receive unbelievable benefits/support from the government...
"This is new Qantas under new CEO. And we make sure will fix those" - the following announcement
