I was thinkin the same thing.
Given the small size of the product and the technology available nowdays in mass manufacturing (3d printing) I can not see why it could nto be made in NZ or Oz with competitive pricing and it would be a good selling point of difference with Oz made written on it.
These guys blamed the demise of the previous shell they took over on the cost of production in Oz but I dont feel that is a good argument nowdays

I personally am not comfortable with investing in this if the product is made in China, their ethos on quality control is inherantly lax -the chineese children's milk formula poisoning comes to mind!
