DESPATCH OF NOTICES TO SHAREHOLDERS PURSUANT TO
SEC 209 OF THE NEW ZEALAND COMPANIES ACT, 1993

Nuplex advises that it is despatching notices to shareholders today pursuant
to Section 209 of the New Zealand Companies Act, 1993 (Obligation to make
