Update regarding Annual Report and Final Audited Full Year Accounts
Pyne Gould Corporation Limited ("PGC") today said it expects to release its
final audited full year accounts and annual report by the middle of October,
as advised last week.
PGC Managing Director George Kerr said the company was sorry that the NZX may
place a trading halt on PGC's shares, but says that the week's notice of that
prospect hopefully means that shareholders will not be too inconvenienced if
it eventuates.
"As we said last week, PGC has been unable to file its annual report and
final audited full year accounts due to a delay in the completion of the
audit relating to one of the Torchlight Fund's larger underlying property
investments not being completed. Every effort is being made to prepare the
accounts for their final release.
"We apologise again to the market and shareholders for the delay and any
inconvenience."
