In the video, Ian Olson makes it quite clear why he thinks it is a very bad idea to raise a bunch of money just to hire a whole lot of new sales staff. The last thing he wants is a whole lot of new sales staff and the administrative overhead baggage that would come with it, along with impeding the ability for the organisation to remain nimble and agile.
His logic was pretty compelling imho. If anyone doesn't have the time to watch the whole thing, I think you're doing yourself a disservice. At the very least watch between about 18 and 35 minutes.
