A small matter of corporate governance:

A director, of a company must act for and on behalf of all share-holders and not to protect self interest of/or the companies that appointed them.
It seems to me that as the representative directors are in possession of information not yet disclosed to the market, then, it follows, that best practise is to only allow those companies with representative directors, to only be allowed to trade shares for 30 days after the full and half year results are announced.

After some of the games played here, I think the trading history of certain companies needs reporting to ASIC/APRA.
