With your broad and in depth knowledge of the fertiliser industry "Rocket", knowing more than Fitch, according to YourGoodSelf, you seem to have overlooked the fact that there is a plant in Australia that produces 975,000 tonnes of phosphate fertiliser per year. It's got an easy name to remember, Phosphate Hill and its about 160km SSE of Mt Isa. Owned by one of LCKs major competitors, it has a thick seam of phosphate rock nearby that is open cut mined. The output mostly goes by rail to Townsville and quite a bit of it is exported. Let's hope that if any of it is currently going to China, that no more orders are accepted. Just to balance things up.
Here are a few fun facts about aviation for you. If your hypothetical "rail road gang" had some sort of serious accident, say your laughable drone falls on them, then that accident would be investigated by the ATSB. They investigate major rail, aviation and shipping accidents.
CASA is the body that regulates aviation, issues licences, including monitoring medical standards, writes the regulations etc. They also look after the regulations and standards for drones. [Technically called UAVs]
Airservices Australia look after air traffic control in the Australian FIRs [Flight Information Regions]. There employ about 1000 air traffic controllers. Airservices also supply fire fighting services at 29 Australian airports. They also employ many technicians and support staff. Total staff about 3700. Most of the people I know at Airservices have been there a very long time. It's a clubby sort of place.
Australia controls about 11% of the world's airspace. To the South, Australian airspace goes all the way to the South Pole, to the West out into the Indian Ocean until it meets the Mauritius and Johannesburg Oceanic FIRs. and to the East until it meets Nadi and Auckland airspace. To the North though, Australian airspace does not go very far before traffic is handed off to PNG and Indonesia.
So why is Airservices relevant to the Annual Financial Report? Because it is mentioned on Page 3. Now, I have to be careful that I do not say anything unsubstantiated or unverifiable, so I merely invite you [all] to bring your powers of observation and read page three closely, and then compare and contrast with similar pages on businessnews.com.au and linkedin, Enjoy your research.
