ahhh my apologies, I should have been more specific - phase 3 is traditionally where stem cell therapies fail.
And you shouldn't be looking at success rate of phase 1 to approval, rather success rate of drugs completing phase 1 and going to phase 2 trials.
Of course something that gets to phase 3 has a higher likelihood of success than something that has to get through phase 1 to 2 to 3.
