Its because they report the Gold and copper assays together. Here is an example of gold/copper assays from our neighbours at Lefroy. If we have hit a gold-copper discovery, it's a huge bonus as copper could be a by-product if they were to ever produce gold and hence reduce AISC. Previously, hardly any gold explorers did multi element analysis as they were only focused on gold. But with the huge price increase in base metals driving the EV boom, it would be silly of them not to..
