For all the hype about AI the number of people not just trained in AI at the edge but who have deep experience of it is very small. That doesn't mean that AI isn't being developed but we are seeing the major applications (like NVIDIAOmniverse, ChatGPT-4, MicrosoftCoPilot, GoogleWorkspace AI, OpenAI, Adobe'sFirefly, CanvaCreateetc. etc. ) are mostly server side - where the bulk of the deep learning has been going on for years. Will take some time for the pace of development at the edge to reach full speed. Most of the tech's are still learning.
Chip Fabrication has hit bottle necks. If you are planning a new chip with Edge AI Capabilities (with AKIDA IP embedded) just getting a proof of concept chip produced is taking a long time. This is forcing design engineers to conclude "good enough" will do.And/or is slowing the pace of development.
Global tech is in a trough. Fears of recessions and other global uncertainties have put the brakes on tech development.
However, it's probably also true that there is an avalanche of Edge AI applications still in development. Remember, product development cycles take minimum 3 years. And Akida has only been available for part of this time.Things could suddenly get real - fast.

This means that, all of the commentary about the need to ramp-up sales, even if BRN sales team hit best-in-class TODAY - revenue would not flow from this for at least 3 to 5 years. That's howlong the tech will take to get through the development pipeline and hit market.

If BRN is going to start generating significant revenues this year, it will be coming from sales work done 2 to 3 years ago.

I conclude there is nothing wrong with BRN's tech. There is something wrong with the Edge AI market. However, as the research shows, the future potential is enormous (and no doubt underestimated) - that can't be disputed. What that means is that even a company with mediocre edge AI solutions will do well in the long term.

And BRN's solution isn't mediocre.

Patience needed.
If you don't have patience - sell.

However,several people say things are changing, global liquidity started rising again in October 2022 and a lot of that liquidity is flowing into AI/Tech. It is liquidity that is driving markets now.

6:23 interest rates are the Paramount factor to look at in a world where you've got a lot of capital spending going on and you've got to compare a cost of capital with a return on capital

… but that's not the world we're in anymore,we're in a world where there's huge amounts of debt refinancing going on 350trillion dollars of debt worldwide with an average maturity of around five years means you've got to roll over something like 70 trillion of debt every year, now it doesn't matter so much what the interest rate is and clearly it's important but that's not the critical point …

…. if you've got 70 trillion of debt to refinance every year you need balance sheet capacity to do that and balance sheet capacity is a measure of liquidity and so liquidity is the Paramount factor in markets now. In a world of capital spending sure interest rates are relevant. But in a world of huge debt refinancing what you've got to do is essentially get the capacity and that is all about liquidity if you do the math….
