NAB just bought the neobank 86400 and 86400 is wired into Z1p... bit of speculation that this might be a play for NAB to find a way to back door onto Z1p without destroying NAB's archaic credit card model. Can't say for sure but, umm, the new chair of Z1p is a former insider at Westpac.

Early days but there's way too many bnpl players competing for control. Of the 52 bnpl brands competing on earth right now, I reckon there'll only be dozen remaining within 5 years and of that dozen, 4 will control the industry.

Dou won't exist because it's taking a turn down a dead end street.


If the management of Dou had used that money from Humm to buy into Lithium mining companies and then announced it was pursuing an 'ethical investment strategy' in doing so, I'd be lining up to buy more dou. Just goes to show how the term 'ethical' can mean very different things to different people.
