Management should be awarded based on competency. A CEO can work 24/7 but if their work doesn't add value to the company and reward shareholders then it's all for nothing.
We don't know yet if what management has put in place will pay off. When we do know we can reward them. It's not that we are saying no to rewards, we are just delaying them so we can have some time to assess whether they've added value.
