    yeah, after you told me to "shut up hahaha" I read what you wrote.

    The fact more men apply for leadership roles is at least partly explainable by the entrenched societal norms in business.

    Im not trying to be a jerk or inflame or a "ranting lefty" or whatever you want to call it. I havent been disrespectful to anyone.

    Simply tried to weigh in and respectfully raise that while the push for diversity may go too far at times and doesnt always get it right, it's very difficult to argue that there has not been an entrenched spcietal preference for men (and until not that long ago, a virtual exclusion of women) in the field (and many other fields) for a long, long time.

    Are the diversity schemes always appropriate and perfect? Nope.

    Have men historically dominated because men are just better at this stuff? Nope.

    All in my opinion of course, I'm wise enough to know there are plenty who disgaree. And now Id like to leave it.
