Possibly, yes.it's not really an "ideal split", just law of averages. Unless you are saying men are intrinsically more capable and competent? I think women are just as capable as men to sit on boards.
To argue men have historically dominated these positions (and fields like music science etc) purely due to higher competence seems more than a bit naive. Or that there aren't many complex reasons why men tend to "apply more".
But sure, ok. I have no doubt you found the diversity report hilarious, but also very doubtful you read it intending to find it anything else.
I'm not phased, I know nothing about this person. And I get I'm not going to change minds on this.
