there was a definite underlying sentiment of "are we there yet???". response from board was that CVN holders can look forward to a great Xmas and even better Easter. 3D seismic significantly reduced drilling risk and modern 3D is significantly better.

unfortunately CVN is still an O&G company and O&G projects take time plus covid has had a significant impact.

personally I was very impressed by the knowledge of Bill, if anyone can get CVN to production he can (and will).

I walked away slightly disappointed that they didn't have a better net zero or future driven approach. although the discussion indicated they were giving it serious thought. but that it was tomorrow's problem.

was a little bemused by the TO discussion. so we may see something happen if the Bedout drilling results come in as expected. personally I think a major would rather buy what Santos is selling rather than TO CVN. but that'll be a cash v scrip decision for potential suitors
