RE: Tie back/s of Old fields,

Jahal Kuda-Tasi field which was around 14 mmbbls & the permit was relinquished by the JV partners after the second well. WPL flogged their share to ENI, whilst Santos sold to Paladin (Talisman). Inpex held the remaining 35%. This field is in deeper waters around 420m & falls under a revised PSC for ENI (JPDA 06-105) which might get recirculated to another party if the TL govt were keen for royalties.

Kitan oilfield is next doors to the East of Buffalo, same oil type within the Elang formation. Produced 26 mmbbls from Oct 2011 to Dec 2015 by ENI & then shut down due to high water cut. Only reason this was developed very fast (since Buffalo) was due to high oil price.

Other then these 2, there's Lam/Cor in Australian waters which should b decommissioned at some point after NOGA went into liquidation. Not sure how much oil is left since production began in Nov-1999 & whether this is really worth the risk given the costs involved & the debate around who pays for the decomm.
